Today my mind is quiet. Nothing has peaked my interest except reading about the new kind of beauty. Excessive plastic surgery, not my thing really!
Walked yesterday a long time climbed a small mountain hill, and on yesterdays topic of the environment I have this pet peeve. Picking up your dogs poo, then throwing the bag in the bushes or trees even.
People think, well I should say I think people think my life is great as I do not work, as I am on disability. Well it doesn't. I am filled with guilt and sometimes hatred for myself. I am bored and I am scared. Most of the time I am alone.
I am hopped up on medication, without I cannot really get out of bed, I am surrounded by opinion of said meds.
This is beginning to sound gloomy so I am out with nothing really said.
the blah blah mind open like seven eleven...

the enviroment
As my mind is constantly chattering I decided after my shower to blog instead of think. Or think and Blog?
I think about the environment a lot. Constantly being shown images and hearing doomsday facts about our earth our oceans, and seas.
I want my 7 year old niece to have an ocean to play at to sail on to simply co exist with her.
If there are so many facts about how we are fucking the earth and fast, why aren't people really caring. I myself am guilty of wanting and of forgetting my cloth bags at home.
Why some people so concerned about an oil spill when container ships are spilling cheap plastic to fill dollar stores and Canadian tires, all of which end up in the ocean or landfills everyday. Why do Walmarts and Targets pop up out of nowhere everyday?
It really isn't that long ago that we cared for our "stuff", we used fountain pens, razors with blades, and put diapers of cloth on our babies. It's a runaway train, there is no way to stop it. Apparently our economy depends on it.
I use an old stereo that blasts music ten thousand times better than a dock could ever do. Yet our stereos today are not even fixable, its cheaper to buy a new one.
Same goes for telephones, TV's and computers.
I tried to take an older working tv to the Salvation army the other day and they wouldn't take it!! No one will use them.
Sure changes are happening but not anywhere near the speed of destruction. Sure there is such a thing as evolution, and with that things change inevitably but at this speed?
and on and on and on
